Liverpool
have finally ended their interest in highly rated midfielder Naby Keita,
according to SkySports.

SkySports
reported earlier today that after failing to seal the deal with several offers,
Liverpool have ended their interest in Keita.
The
reports continuously linked the 22-year-old with Liverpool for a big summer
move but Leipzig put an exceptional price tag on him due to which the deal fell through.
Liverpool
reportedly made a £67million offer for him but the German side rejected the
offer by saying that it was too low, and then put an £80million price tag on
their midfielder.
The
Reds have been in link with him for the past few months, the player was also
likely to join the Premier League side but the transfer fee remained the issue
between both the sides.
Despite
of having a generous offer from Liverpool, Bundesliga side rejected. Now they
could even sell him on a low price if he fails to perform in the coming season.
A
representative from Leipzig told Sky Sources that Keita will stay at the club
for another season.
Keita
scored 8 goals in 31 games for the German side last season.
Liverpool
have completed three summer deals, Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andy
Robertson. They are still active in the market and will seal few more players
before the transfer window ends.
