Chelsea
striker Diego Costa is set to join Serie A giants AC Milan this summer,
according to latest reports.

SkySports have revealed that AC Milan are discussing with Costa’s agent Jorge
Mendes for the possible summer move.
It
is believed that Chelsea will agree a lower fee also as they are trying to get
rid of the Spaniard despite of a great last season.
Costa
has been doing solo training in Brazil, he didn’t travel with the squad for their pre-season tour
to Asia as boss Antonio Conte excluded him from the squad.
Chelsea
have already signed Costa’s replacement Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid for a
bumper fee around £70million.
Spanish
side Atletico Madrid were also said to be taking interest in their former star
striker but due to transfer ban they have taken a step back. The transfer ban
is expected to be lifted in January.
The
28-year-old is not part of Conte’s next season plan despite of his incredible
performance last season.
The
two time Premier League winner has scored 58 goals since his big move from Atletico
Madrid few years ago.
AC
Milan are confident that they will close the deal in the next few days.
