The Sun reported earlier today that Arsenal are planning to launch a bid around £15million for Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko has been linked with several sides after his struggling season at Etihad Stadium. He was not a regular forward for the Citizens, however he was used as a supersub. He played a great role in 2013-2014 Premier League season when Man City lifted their Premier League title but failed in the recent season.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho who is a big admirer of the Bosnian footballer said last year that he should have won the PFA Player of the Year award after his vital role in the league for the Citizens.
The Blues are also said to be interested in his move as they look to replace Didier Drogba.
Dzeko has not been given enough chances after the arrival of Wilfried Bony from Swansea City earlier this year.
He started only 11 Premier League games in the recent season.
Arsenal who targeted him prior to his move to City are ready to bid £15million for Dzeko but they could face a tough competition from Blues.
The 29-year-old has scored 71 goals in more than 180 games for the blue side of Manchester since joining them in 2011.
