Premier League club Arsenal have launched an offer for Juventus young center-back Daniele Rugani, according to CalcioMercato.
The reports have revealed that Arsenal bid is around 14 million pounds and it is likely that the Serie A champions will accept it.
Rugani who is currently on loan at Empoli has been targeted by several top Premier League sides.
The 20-year-old played regular football last season, he started all the 38 Serie A games for Empoli last term.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly eyeing him as a long term replacement of Per Mertesacker as the German is expected to leave this summer.
However, the 20-year-old is not likely to become a regular from the start but he has the potential to become one the best defender.
The Italian side Juventus have no plans to sell him but now the reports claimed that the amount of money for the youngster would make their mind change.
14 million pounds is a big amount for the 20-year-old Italian but there is something special that Wenger has seen in him.
Arsenal have been linked with several of star players but still they are yet to seal their first summer deal.
