Manchester
United boss Louis van Gaal has given a good news to their supporters that
summer record multimillion signing Angel Di Maria, midfielder Michael Carrick
and goalkeeper David De Gea all are set to face Arsenal this weekend.
Manchester
United who will face Arsenal in a Premier League game this weekend have confirmed
that recent injured players have returned from their problems and are set to travel
to London to face the Gunners. But Summer signing Luke Shaw is still doubtful
for this fixture.
All
the three players suffered injuries while representing their countries last
week. Di Maria picked up an injury during the international friendly game
between Argentina and Portugal at his club home ground Old Trafford. While Michael Carrick
and stopper De Gea suffered while training with their international squad.
Van
Gaal told on the official website of Manchester United that di Maria trained
normally, the question mark is with Shaw. De Gea is also fit but will wait for Carrick, hopefully he is expected to be fit.
LVG further added that he will have to wait till Friday to further confirm the names of returning players.
The
injury problems is one of the reason for United's struggling season. Currently,
sitting on the seven spot in the Premier League table with 16 points.
