Newcastle United are closing on the deal of Aleksandar Mitrovic as the reports from SkySports revealed that the Anderlecht striker will be having a medical this weekend.
The
reports further added that the fee for the 20-year-old forward is around £13 million.
Mitrovic
played an exceptional season for the Belgian side last term. He netted 23 goals
in 44 games in all campaigns for his club.

The
player’s agent was spotted in Newcastle last week which further confirms that
the deal is set to be completed.
Mitrovic
netted 20 goals in 37 appearances in the Belgian Pro League last term.
Mitrovic
also played a great part in last season’s Champions League campaign as he
scored against top sides including Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea
boss Jose Mourinho was also keeping tabs on the Serbian forward, however the
interest from the Portuguese boss took a step back after the completion of
Radamel Falcao loan deal from Monaco.
The
Serbian international netted 30 goals in 78 games for Anderlecht since his move
from Partizan Belgrade for a club record fee of €5 million in 2013 summer.
