Manchester
City are keen to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus but the French star is eyeing to
join either Real Madrid or Barcelona, according to Daily Star.
Paul
Pogba has been targeted by European top clubs for the summer move, Chelsea,
Manchester United and Manchester City are all targeting him. While Real Madrid
are also reportedly keeping an eye on his situation.
Man
City boss Manuel Pellegrini is set to make an offer around £70million for the
Juventus star man but has also made a backup plan. Arsenal unsettled midfielder
Jack Wilshere has been targeted by Pellegrini as a second option.
Pellegrini
knows that Pogba wants to move to Spanish giant but he is still confident that
a big money can change his mind.
While
Daily
Star believe that Man City will made a £40million bid for Jack Wilshere
if they fail to land Pogba. Despite
of Wilshere’s struggling season at Emirates last term the Citizens are preparing
such big amount.
It
is believed that Man City Chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak will double Wilshere’s
wages. He is currently earning around £75,000-a-week.
The
23-year-old has still three years left on his current Arsenal contact but he
has no plans to stay due to not getting enough time on the field.
