Lyon
striker Alexandre Lacazette will not be moving to Liverpool as they cannot
afford him, says Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas.
Alexandre
Lacazette has been on several top sides’ radar after his exceptional goal
scoring record for the French side the recent season. He impressed with his 27
goals in Ligue One.

Liverpool
boss Brenden Rodgers have been keeping close table on the player for the past
few months but looks like he cannot offer Lyon the demanded transfer fee, as per
their president.
Jean
Michel Aulas told that Liverpool have not contacted them, they are not even
playing Champions League and they don’t even have the money to sign their star
player.
Aulas
believes that he will stay in Lyon as they have qualified for Champions League group
stages, also they have a new stadium which has more than 50,000 of capacity.
The
25-year-old has also been linked with a move Arsenal and Chelsea. Both the
London sides are in the race, Chelsea will easily beat the Gunners if Lacazette
prefers money.
Last
month Lyon told that €50 million would not be enough for their striker.
However,
Liverpool have eyed several other targets including Villarreal youngster Luciano
Vietto and Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.
