the Spanish side in 2009. In total, he has played 139 La Liga games for Villarreal.
New
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has already made three signings of goalkeeper
Michel Vorm and two defenders Ben Davies and Eric Dier and looks set to make
his fourth summer signing of Musacchio.
The Argentinean defender who can also be used as a right back played 32 games for Villarreal last season.
Villarreal
manager Marcelino told earlier: “It's a situation with three parties: the
player, the buyer and the club in the middle.”
Marcelino
is already aware that his player wants to leave, he further added: “As I have
said many times, if the club sell an important player it's because the right
conditions to do so have been met. It won't be easy to replace him but the
solution, for better or worse, will be found soon.”
While on the other side, Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen is set to leave this summer as he has been in link with numerous big names including Barcelona.
