Premier
League side Arsenal have agreed to sign France right back Mathieu Debuchy for £12million. He will be moving to Arsenal after the World Cup.
Arsenal
manager Arsene Wenger who has eyed numerous player including Toulouse right back
Serge Aurier is set to sign Bacary Sagna’s replacement who left the Gunners for
Manchester City on a free transfer last month.
Tottenham
are also showing interest in Serge Aurier and hopefully will get him by overpaying,
so it will be good if Arsenal land Debuchy.
Debuchy
defender was once linked with Arsenal in 2012 before his move to James Park
from Lille.
The
28-year-old has played 46 games for the Magpies since his move. Currently,
representing his country France in the World Cup.
The
Frenchman who has also been linked with big names like Paris Saints Germain and
Real Madrid has expressed his desire to play in the Champion League.
Germany
will face France in the Quarter Final this week and a lose for France will send
them back to home after which Debuchy will concentrate on his club future.
Debuchy
will be a good signing who can easily fill the place of Sagna.
