World
Cup star James Rodriguez has expressed his desire to play for one of the
biggest football club Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are targeting the 23-year-old after seeing his brilliant performances at the World Cup. He scored six goals for Colombia and took them to Quarter Final. He is still on top of the goal scoring chart.
Rodriguez
has also revealed that his future will be decided by his club Monaco. The French
side signed the Colombian last summer for £35million from Porto since then he
has scored 10 and set up 12 goals in 38 games.
Madrid
are preparing for a £55million bid for Rodriguez as he is ready to leave Monaco
for Madrid this summer.
He
told Spanish newspaper MARCA: “It's really flattering to know that
a club like Madrid, of such magnitude, are interested in me. It would be a
dream to sign for the team of my dreams.”
He
also told that it is also a dream to play with quality players including the
World best player Cristiano Ronaldo.
The
23-year-old who signed a five-year-deal with Monaco last season admitted that
he will leave if Monaco allow him.
In
the end he added with a smile, “Signing for Real Madrid is a different matter.
I'm in the hands of President Florentino Perez.”
Rodriguez
is ready to leave Monaco for Madrid but remains unsure whether Monaco will let
him leave or not.
