Arsenal target Manchester City's Richards Reports suggested that Premier League Champions Manchester City are ready to sell their right back Micah Richards.

Reports suggested that Premier League Champions Manchester City are ready to sell their right back Micah Richards.

Arsenal who are in search of Bacary Sagna’s replacement might make this move final as City have said that the player is allowed to leave the club.

Richards has not played regular football since 2012. The injury he suffered gave his place to Argentina international Pablo Zabaleta. In the previous season, he has appeared only two times in a City jersey in Premier League.

The English man is still 25-year-old and still have the time to become the same beast as he used to be.

Arsenal have targeted many right backs but failed to conclude any deal. Richards will be a perfect man for that role as he is still 25 and there is a lot of time for a right back at this age to improve. He will be available for a very low price.

Arsenal might have to face some competition to secure his services as Liverpool and Newcastle United are in the queue.

Richards have won a BPL title and a FA Cup at City. Also, the 25-year-old has played 13 games for England.

  1. This could be the best deal made by Arsenal this summer. RIchards is a beast, offers power and pace, and will give Arsenal what they need in defence. Arsenal should sign him as 5 million for Richards is close to being a free signing.
