William Carvalho to United and Nani to Sporting
Premier League side Manchester United are planning to sign defensive midfielder William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon according to Portuguese reports.
It was reported that the Manchester United Dutch boss Louis van Gaal is eyeing a swap deal involving their winger Luis Nani who is currently enjoying a loan spell at Sporting Lisbon.
William Carvalho has been strongly linked with a move away from Portugal in the past few months especially Arsenal have been the top side who were trying to land him.
United signed Marcos Rojo in the summer from Sporting Lisbon and sent Nani on loan. While Nani who struggled in the last years at Old Trafford has been displaying impressive performances in his homeland with Sporting Lisbon.
The 28-year-old Portuguese winger has scored 6 goals in 13 appearances this season.
Nani has also revealed that there is a possibility of returning to United but currently is happy with his childhood club.
The recent reports have reveled that the Red Devils will offer a chance for the Portuguese outfit to resign Nani on a permanent deal, if they are ready to sell their star man Carvalho. United will also offer £10 million cash along with Nani to wrap up the deal.
