Chamberlain
has now entered the final year of his contract. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is
keen to keep the player but the player has not decided anything so far.
The
reports strongly suggested that despite of his inclusion in the pre-season
squad that traveled to Australia this week, he is expected to leave this
summer.
The
23-year-old joined Gunners from Southampton in 2011, but the player has not
been able to progress that much as predicted few years ago.
He
has netted 20 goals in 194 appearances for the North London side since his
move.
Chamberlain
has failed to cement his place in the starting eleven, he has played in variety
of roles from winger to central midfielder and even in the last season he was
used as a wing-back when Wenger deployed the new 3-5-2 formation.
