La
Liga giants Barcelona have re-signed their former attacker Gerard Deulofeu from
Everton, according to official website.
Barcelona
have completed the signing of Gerard Deulofeu from Premier League side Everton
on a two-year deal.
The
Catalans have taken the advantage of buy back clause in the contract which he
signed at the Goodison Park in 2015.
Deulofeu
failed to cement his place in the starting eleven especially after the arrival
of Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palace last year.
He
netted 8 goals in 75 appearances for the Toffees.
The
Spaniard spent the second half of last season in Italy with AC Milan on a six
month loan deal. He netted 4 goals in 18 appearances for the Serie A side in
all campaigns.
The
23-year-old is currently with the Spain under 21 squad, he is expected to play
against Germany in the European Championship final.
Barcelona
released the statement following his signature earlier today that Barca have activated
the buy-back clause for Gerard Deulofeu. Both the clubs have agreed, the player
has penned a two year deal.
He
will be rejoining the team once his international duty is over.
