Liverpool
boss Jürgen Klopp has given injury updates on Milner, Sturridge, Coutinho and
Matip ahead of the FA Cup game against Plymouth Argyle.
The
boss has confirmed that James Milner is out for the FA Cup game this weekend
while Philippe Coutinho and Joel Matip are both on their way to recovery, they
both are unlikely to feature. The good news is that the duo would be back for
the Manchester United clash.
Daniel
Sturridge who picked up a minor knock against Sunderland is expected to be back
in training today, he might be featuring against Plymouth.
Klopp
told in the pre match conference that Sturridge has not returned since his
injury, but he will be back today. But it remains a doubt whether he will be
available tomorrow or not.
Coutinho
and Matip both are back but not fit to feature, they need a little more time. With
Manchester United big game coming next week, these two would be preparing for that
big game.
Liverpool
are five points behind league leaders Chelsea and the game against the Red
Devils could be decisive so these both players will need to come back.
