Bellerin
has been exceptional for the Gunners before picking up ankle injury last month.
However, he progessed good and returns within a month. While Mertesacker has not
played this season, he picked up a knee injury in pre-season friendly game against
RC Lens.
Meanwhile,
Santi Cazorla is expected to miss the Champions League game tomorrow. But Olivier
Giroud who missed the weekend’s game will return for UCL game.
Mathieu
Debuchy is out with a hamstring injury for six weeks. While striker Danny
Welbeck remains out for further four weeks. He will not return this year.
The
Gunners have already qualified for the knockout round but they are now eyeing
to get the top spot in the Group A. PSG are on top with same point as of
Arsenal.
Arsenal
are also going great in the league, currently on second spot in the Premier
League table and have lost only one game so far this season. With the
return of these players, manager Arsene Wenger could take advantage.
