Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to sign a new long term deal at the Spanish side, as per SkySports.
The Portuguese star man who has won three times Ballon d’Or has started a season very poor. Despite of his performance Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is happy to have him until he turns 36.
Ronaldo
is struggling this season, he has netted five goals so far in the league.
The
reports believe that he will sign a five-year deal, keeping him at the club
until 2021.
The
financial details are currently kept secret but the reports believe that Ronaldo
will remain the club top paid player.
The
31-year-old is currently playing eight season with the La Liga giants. He signed for Madrid in 2009 from Manchester
United for a record fee of £80million.
He
has netted more than 350 goals for the club since his move. Also, won Champions
League twice, Copa del Reys twice, La Liga and UEFA Super Cup.
The
Los Blancos have already sealed Gareth Bale long term contract extension
recently. The Welshman signed a six-year deal which will keep him until 2022.
Furthermore,
Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Lucas Vazquez have also penned new deal.
