Matteo
Darmian is expected to leave Manchester
United in the January transfer window, according to his agent Fausto
Pari.
Darmian
is looking for a new club after a struggling start of the new campaign under
new boss Jose Mourinho.
The
26-year-old who has made only one appearance for the Red Devils is currently on
international duty with the Italy squad.
His
agent Fausto Pari told recently that his client could be on his way out of the
Old Trafford. The only way to stop him is to give him playing time and it is believed
that Portuguese boss has no plans to change the situation.
Pari
told Radio
CRC that his client has been given a very little time, and if this
situation continues this year then they will have to plan a move.
Italian
club Napoli have approached his agent for the possible winter deal. Despite of
having Ivan Strinic for the full-back role the Italian are looking to
strengthen their defence with the addition of Darmian.
Darmian
moved to United last summer from Serie A side Torino, he featured 39 times for
them last season. He still has three years left on his current contract.
