Arsenal
have been hit with a new injury blow as forward Lucas Perez has been ruled out
for more than a month with an ankle problem.
The
Gunners who signed Perez from Deportivo La Coruna last summer for £17million is
now expected to remain absent for the next two months.

The
28-year-old picked up an injury while representing Arsenal in the League Cup
game against Reading yesterday night. He picked up the injury in the last quarter
of the game when Danzell Gravenberch challenged him strongly.
The
recent reports from Metro has revealed that the Spaniard is expected to miss
several weeks through his ankle injury.
Furthermore,
the official reports are yet to be revealed, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will
give update tomorrow when he gives a press conference ahead of the Sunderland
game.
Arsenal
signed Perez to solve striking problems last summer because of Danny Welbeck
who has been out since long.
Striker
Olivier Giroud has also been on the sidelines, he has returned to training but is
yet to return to first team action.
The
French boss have played Alexis Sanchez on the front role, he might continue
with that.
