Wales’s
attacker Hal Robson-Kanu rejected a bumper offer from Chinese club Shanghai
SIPG on the deadline day, as per SkySports.

Wales
star forward denied a move to join Chinese Super League giants Shanghai SIPG in
order to join Premier League club West Brom.
The
reports claimed that Chinese side made £100,000-a-week offer for Robson-Kanu
but he was keen to play in the English top flight. Even the offer from Chinese
was tax free and he would have earned 100 percent of the wage.
The
27-year-old who was outstanding for Wales in the European Championship few
months ago had a dream to play in the Premier League. He scored twice in the
Euro and help his country to reach the semi-finals of the competition.
The
former England manager and current Shanghai boss Sven Goran Eriksson has been
keeping tabs on him for the past several months.
Robson-Kanu
has signed a two year deal at the Baggies and could be getting an extension if
he proves his worth in England.
This is a great signing for West Brom as they have been searching for attackers throughout the summer. Kanu has the potential to impress in the toughest football league.
