new boss Antonio Conte is planning for a shock deal for Martin Caceres who is
currently a free agent, according to The Sun.

of the end of the transfer market few days ago, the London outfit are keen to
bring few more new faces.
Chelsea
manager Conte has already made the football world surprised with the deadline
signing of David Luiz.
The
former Juventus boss suffered from defensive problems last term and was keen to
add more defensive players. He signed Luiz for £30million on the deadline day.
Further,
he brought full-back Marcos Alonso from Italian side Fiorentina.
Conte
is looking to reunite with his former player Caceres at the Stamford Bridge. They
worked together during the time at Turin club Juventus.
The
29-year-old made more than 50 appearances in the Italian top flight and left the club in the summer after getting his contract expired.
The Uruguay international could give some additional boost to the defensive area of Chelsea. He is an experienced player having more than 65 caps for his country.
