Arsenal are keeping tabs on the striker for the past several weeks and Everton are also said to be in the race.


The Gunners are yet to bring any of top player in the transfer window and have planned to bring few new faces in the last week of the transfer window.

Arsene Wenger diverted his interested to Perez after failing to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.


The reports have strongly suggested that Arsene Wenger has made £17million offer for Perez and this is likely to be accepted by the Spanish outfit.

Perez has been exceptional for the La Liga side, he netted 17 goals in the top flight last season.

Perez is keen to join a Champions League club which he could not get at Deportivo.

The Spanish striker spent his early 20’s at several lower leagues club, he spent loan seasons at Rayo Vallecano and Ukrainian side Karpaty Lviv and returned to his country on loan at Deportivo where he impressed and got a long term deal last summer.

Arsenal will be visiting Watford for the Premier League this weekend and will be looking for their first win of the season.
