Fernando
Torres has sealed a new one year deal at Atletico Madrid, according to latest reports
from SkySports.
The
Spaniard who has played for Liverpool and Chelsea in the past has committed to

Torres
rejoined the club back in 2014 after unsuccessful campaign with AC Milan where
he spent six months on loan.
The
32-year-old has not regained his top form but has maintain a good record at
Atletico since his return. He scored 11 goals last season and was part of Champions League final
which they lost against Real Madrid back in May.
Antoine
Griezmann who also signed a new deal a month has will be continuing the striking
partnership with Torres.
Griezmann
is currently enjoying Euro campaign with his country France where he will face
Germany in the semifinal round. He scored a great chip in a 5 – 2 win
over Iceland yesterday .
Torres
is happy to seal a deal as he expressed his happiness in an interview with the
club official website.
Atletico
Madrid sporting director Jose Luis Perez Caminero also told that they knew he
will grab the deal without a doubt.
Furthermore, Torres
has now entered his last few years of his career.
