Scottish
giants Celtic have announced the signing of Kolo Toure on a one year deal,
according to SkySports.
Former
Liverpool center-back Kolo Toure has joined Celtic on a season deal, according
to Celtic’s official website.
The
Ivory Coast defender has been looking for a new club for the past few months as
his Liverpool’s contract expired in May.

Toure
who was signed by Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool few years ago has now reunited with
the former Liverpool manager.
Rodgers
has admired him in the past and again told that he is a great addition to the
squad, an experience player and a great person.

The
35-year-old played a great season at Anfield Stadium last term, he was a vital player for Jurgen Klopp in the second half of last season. He was also a part of Europa League final which Liverpool lost against Sevilla.
The
former Arsenal and Manchester City centre-back made more than 70 appearances
for the Merseyside Reds during his three years of stay.
Toure
left England after winning Premier League twice and FA Cup thrice, now he is
looking to add Scottish League title in the coming season.
