Lyon
are in no mood to sell Lacazette as they have already told he is not for sale
but despite of that they have now further cleared by rejecting a £40million
bid.
Lyon
stated: “Olympique Lyonnais categorically denies having received a 48m euros
(£40m) offer from Arsenal for Alexandre Lacazette like Le Progrès claims in
their edition this morning.”
The
Ligue 1 side believe that Lacazette is irreplaceable and Arsenal should now
take a step back from his pursuit.
