Southampton
midfielder Victopremr Wanyama is set to have a medical ahead of his move to
Tottneham Hotspur, according to SkySports.

Spurs
boss Mauricio Pochettino has been targeting him since last summer and now
is set to sign his former player.
The
Argentinean boss is keen to reunite with his former Saints midfielder who has
been struggling at the St. Mary Stadium.
Sky
sources believe that Spurs have agreed a £11million for the Kenya international
who will be moving to London for a medical next week.
Wanyama
was also keen to move to Spurs last summer but Southampton refused to sell him.
Tottenham are looking to strengthen their side as they will have Champions League
campaign in the coming season. Wanyama is an experienced player and would be going
directly into the first team. However, he would have to fight for the starting
role as there is a tough competition.
Furthermore,
the 24-year-old has already featured in the Champions League when he was at
Scottish side Celtic.
Wanyama moved to Premier League in 2013 from Celtic, he has made more than 90 appearances in all campaigns for Southampton. He has also capped 42 times for his country Kenya.
