Tottenham
Hotspur are set to sign Victor Wanyama from Southampton for a fee around £15million,
according to SkySports.
Spurs
boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring his former player Victor Wanyama at
White Hart Lane.
The
reports believe that the deal is set to be agreed between the two English
clubs. The player who joined the Saints for £12millon from Celtic will be now
leaving the club this summer.
The
24-year-old holding midfielder has made 92 appearances for Southampton since
his move from Celtic in 2013.
The
transfer fee is not yet revealed but the Saints have told that they are likely
to receive atleast what they paid for him back in 2013.
Wanyama
was linked with Spurs last summer but the club refused to sell him.
Pochettino
is keen to strengthen the midfield as he looks for a tough coming season especially
the inclusion of Champions League in their routine.
Meanwhile,
Tottenham are still in talks with Michy Batshuayi and Vincent Janssen for their
summer move to the London side.
AZ
Alkmaar striker Janssen is likely to seal his deal with Spurs next month while Batshuayi
could fail to seal Spurs move as French side Marseille are asking £31million
for their player.
