Arsenal have opened their interest in West Ham United star midfielder Dimitri Payet, according to latest reports.
The Frenchman was linked few months ago to the Gunners and now the North London side have reignited their interest.
Arsenal are planning to launch £25million offer to West Ham for Payet who is currently representing France in the European Championship 2016.
However, SkySports reported yesterday that Payet’s agent has told the clubs that his client will cost big transfer fee.
Payet was sensational in his debut season at Upton Park, he scored 12 goals and assisted 14 times.
West Ham are in no mood to sell their star man but a concrete offer would change up their mind. Arsenal £25million offer is likely to be rejected by the Hammers.
The North London side are not likely to pay more than £25million as the player will be turning 30 next March.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is yet to sign his top summer targets, Jamie Vardy and Granit Xhaka are still in talks but nothing have been concluded yet.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also in the race reportedly and could be meeting the demands of West Ham and the player.
