Barcelona
star Neymar is set to sign a new five year deal at Camp Nou, according to
latest reports from SkySports.
Neymar
was link with a move to Manchester United this summer but the reports claimed earlier
this month that he will be staying.
The
Brazilian who is currently free from both club and country football will be
signing a five year contract extension which will keep him until 2021.
Barca
president Josep Maria Bartomeu also confirmed that Neymar is happy at Camp Nou
and has no plans to leave the club.
Furthermore,
Barca are also keen to get signatures of Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano on
the new deals.
Neymar
has now completed his third season at Barcelona in which he netted 31 goals in 49
games, also lifting the La Liga and the Copa del Rey trophies.
Neymar
was not part of Brazil squad in order to take some rest from football but he
will be playing Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in August.
The
24-year-old has netted 85 goals in 141 games for Barca since his move from Santos
back in 2013.
