Shanghai manager Sven-Goran Eriksson who is the former England and Manchester City manager has spoken his desire to sign Hulk this summer.
The Chinese side are willing to pay £45.7million for the Brazilian which will be a record fee for an Asian side.

The current record transfer fee in Asia is of Alex Teixera who moved to Jiangsu Suning from Shakhtar Donetsk for £38million earlier this year.

Hulk joined the Russian side in 2012 for a fee around £33million from Portuguese side FC Porto.

Eriksson is keen to bolster his squad as he eyes to fight for the title, currently his side are 12 points behind leaders Guangzhou Evergrande.

The reports have suggested that the fee has been agreed between both the sides and the player will be heading for a medical soon.

Hulk, 29, who was part of Brazil squad in the recent Copa America competition made only one appearance for his country.

The Brazilian has played for a Japanese club in his young age and now will be moving to Chinese side in the next few days.
