Liverpool
centre-half Martin Skrtel is set to leave the club as the reports claimed that
Turkish side Fenerbahce are closing on his deal.
SkySports reported that Fenerbahce are set to agree deal with Liverpool for their defender Martin Skrtel.
The
31-year-old struggled in the second half of last season at the Anfield Stadium.
Despite of signing a three year deal last summer the defender has not been a
regular starter. He made only four starts in this New Year.

Kolo
Toure and Dejan Lovren were preferred in the absence of Mamadou Sakho. Toure is
however now a free agent as he was released earlier this month.
Several
Turkish clubs have been keeping tabs on the Slovakian who is currently representing
his country at the Euro 2016 in France.
The
reports further claimed that Fenerbahce are leading the race and are likely to bring and end to Skrtel's eight year spell at the Merseyside club.
The
Reds signed Skrtel for £6.4million from Russian side Zenit Saint-Petersburg in
2008, he has played more than 300 games for the club.
Fenerbahce finished second last term, they will be playing the Champions League third round
next season.
Liverpool
boss Jurgen Klopp will now be planning to bring center-backs.
