Arsenal
target Kalidou Koulibaly is set to leave Italian side Napoli this summer,
according to French reports from L’Equipe.
Arsenalboss Arsene Wenger has been targeting defensive players for the past few months
and looks like the Frenchman could bring Koulibaly this summer.

L’Equipe
reported
that Kalidou Koulibaly has been searching for the club for the past few weeks
and is keen to join a Premier League side.
The
24-year-old has been an exceptional talent in the Serie A, he has been linked
with Chelsea and Bayern Munich. However,
Bayern Munich have signed Mats Hummels and Chelsea are not in the Champions
League next season could make it easy for the Gunners.
Koulibaly
clearly explained his situation that he not only wants to boost his career but
also wants a financial boost. He still has three years left on his current
contract at Napoli.
Also, the
reports revealed that the Senegal international was in talks directly with
several club which is illegal unless Napoli have given him permission.
However,
he cleared about the Chelsea link that he has not in contact with any of
Chelsea officials.
Koulibaly
has made more than 80 appearances for Napoli since his move from Racing Genk in
2014.
