Arsenal
striker Danny Welbeck could be facing a lengthy spell on the sideline with a
knee injury sustained last weekend, according to recent reports.
Danny
Welbeck who has already missed most part of this season is now likely to miss
the European Championship for his country England next month.

The
Englishman picked up a knee injury in a 2 – 2 draw against Manchester City last
weekend.
Welbeck
returned from a nine month spell on the sideline few months ago and now is set
to be out for atleast a month.
England
boss Roy Hodgson will not be worried as he has Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge
fit for the Euro.
On
the other hand, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Per Mertesacker are on
the sideline through injury.
Ozil
missed the Manchester City game with a hip injury, however he would return
soon. But Oxlade-Chamberlain with knee and Mertesacker with hamstring injury
are out for few more weeks.
Chamberlain
will not be a part of England squad while Mertesacker has already announced his
retirement from international football.
Meanwhile,
Santi Cazorla has returned to full fitness and is likely to play full game this
weekend against Aston Villa which will be the last game of the Premier League.
