Saint Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to leave the club for Chinese
side, according to The Independent.
The
Sweden international told earlier this season that he will be leaving the French
giants and that news alerted top sides including Manchester United, Arsenal and
Chelsea.
The
reports revealed earlier today that Chinese government are planning to spend £59.2million
in order to secure his deal this summer.
It
was claimed few months ago that Jose Mourinho was looking to sign him this
summer when he gets the managerial seat the Manchester United. But the Chinese
side are set too make a world record by making him the highest paid footballer
in the world.
Chinese
Super League has been improving every year, players like Didier Drogba has already experienced Chinese League. Also, his teammate Ezequiel Lavezzi has
already joined the Chinese League recently, he is earning £400,000-a-week at Hebei Fortune.
Ibrahimovic
has been exceptional for the French giants since his move. He has netted 27
goals in 25 games in Ligue 1 so far this season.
If
the former Inter Milan forward joins the Chinese side then he will be making
more than $80 million per season which will make him the highest
footballer in the history of football.
