Arsenal make bid for Emerick Aubameyang

The Gunners have been targeting Aubameyang for the past several months and are now likely to seal his deal as the reports claimed earlier today that a big bid has been made.

Dortmund’s chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke hinted that the club are not depending on anyone. Aubameyang recently missed the training as he is planning for a move due to personal terms.

The 26-year-old is quoted by the same reporter Kike Marin who broke the news of Alexis Sanchez move to Arsenal from Barcelona few years ago.

The Gunners are in need of attackers and with the signing of him they can surely increase their chances of winning the Premier League title after a long time. The English giants have only Olivier Giroud fit for the striking role. Danny Welbeck is still out through injury.

However, teammate Matthias Ginter believes that he should stay.

Aubameyang has netted 68 goals in 119 appearances for the German side since his move from Saint-Étienne in 2013.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have also targeted him as the new boss Jurgen Klopp has already worked with him and is keen to re-sign him at Anfield.
