However,
Arsenal have to fight Everton to secure his deal as they are already keeping
tabs on Yarmolenko for the past few weeks.
Italian
media Tuttomercatoweb reported that the North London side are likely
to beat the Ukraine international.
Yarmolenko
has been a vital player for the Ukrainian side, he has netted 82 goals in 282
games for them since 2007.
The
Gunners were linked with him last week but nothing have been updated yet, they
are still preparing a bid.
Express
reported that Everton boss Roberto Martinez has been keeping strong tabs and
has made him a key target. The Toffees have only £21million budget to spend
this month despite selling Steven Naismith recently.
The
26-year-old would definitely prefer a move to the Emirates Stadium over Everton.
Meanwhile,
Gunners are likely to take a step back from their target Granit Xhaka as the Borussia
Monchengladbach midfielder is likely to stay at the German club.
The
reports have linked Arsenal with the Swiss star in the past week.
