Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is expected to return before his predicted date, according to latest reports.
Arsenal have revealed that Wilshere who was expected to return next year could return before the start of the New Year.
According to Wayne Veysey of Football Insider, the Englishman is likely to make a return against Southampton on the Boxing Day.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will not be planning to rush him but Veysey believes that it would be great to see him back especially for the fans. Even he might return against Manchester United.
Wilshere played 14 games last season and was in fine form but again this season his ankle injury sidelined him since the summer.
Arsenal are currently in need of midfielders as Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla both are on the sidelines and will not be returning this month.
Guardian journalist David Hytner said that Cazorla could be out for four months, as per Wenger.
Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky are also on the sidelines and the latter one is yet to feature this season.
Currently, Arsenal are playing with Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini as a holding midfielder but are keen to get back their star performers.
