Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger is planning to sign Aissa Mandi from French side Stade
de Reims, according to Metro reports.
Arsenal
are reportedly keen to land Aissa Mandi in the January window as the Gunners
boss plans to strengthen his side for the New Year.
The
24-year-old right back has been eyed by several top sides, according to Metro.
He has made total 13 appearances in Ligue 1 so far this season.
Mandi
has been in fine form for the French side since his debut in 2009.
However,
Arsenal already have Mathieu Debuchy and Hector Bellerin for the right-back
role but are still looking to sign Mandi in the winter transfer window which starts
next month.
Bellerin
has been sensational for the Gunners since his debut but could be leaving the
Gunners as Barcelona are taking interest in him.
The
North London side are in good position to win this year’s Premier League title.
Currently, sitting on second spot just two points behind the league leaders Leicester
City.
Meanwhile,
Celta Vigo forward Nolito has been targeted by Arsenal and Manchester City and
could be making a bid next month.
