Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid manager boss Diego Simeone, according to The Independent.
Roman
Abramovich is yet to reveal any new manager for the Stamford Bridge side but the reports claim that Diego Simeone could be his next target.
Jose
Mourinho who is the current manager is set to be sacked after one of the worst performances
in Chelsea’s history.
The
Blues are on 16th spot with only 11 points in 12 games so far this season and
only a big turn could take them back to the top four.
With
such poor form the Blues owner is now eyeing to atleast get the Champions League
spot this term which is becoming more and more difficult week by week.
The
Daily Mirror revealed that Simeone would only come if has been allowed to make
several changes to the squad.
Simeone’s
assistant German Burgos would also becoming along with the new boss as the
latter one has been taking English classes.
Meanwhile,
the Argenitine boss would be demanding the full control of transfer. He could
be bringing some of top players from Ateltico Madrid to Stamford Bridge.
The Premier League side was linked with Carlo Ancelotti and Guus Hiddink in the recent weeks, who both
were eyed as a temporary manager.
