Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho is eyeing to join Premier League side
Arsenal in the winter window, according to reports in Portugal.
The
young Portuguese midfielder has already been on Arsenal’s radar for the past
several months. However, the Gunners failed to land him in the summer window due
his injury problems but are still in search of a holding midfielder.

The
23-year-old who suffered an injury in the late July is ready to start his
career in England. With the Gunner keen to fight for the Premier League title
this season they would certainly be adding new faces to the squad in the winter
window which will open in January.
Carvalho
has now returned from his injury and is set to get back to his form. According to
A Bola, he has already said that he would like to leave Portugal only for Premier
League.
Meanwhile,
Tottenham are also keeping tabs on his situation and could give fight to the
Gunners.
The
reports have revealed that he would cost around €40million, however Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be hopng to conclude the deal for less than €30million.
Carvalho
has made more than 70 appearances for the Portuguese side in all campaigns
since his move.
