Arsenal
attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil is reportedly planning to leave the Emirates
Stadium, according to The Evening Standard reports.
The reports revealed earlier today that Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are keeping tabs on the German attacking midfielder.
The
former Real Madrid playmaker faced criticism after the Gunners poor game against
Zagreb in Croatia which ended in favour of the Creation side. Ozil’s
agent believes that the time for his client in London is coming to its end.
The
Germany international who was not upto his mark in the midweek Champions League
game is yet to perform consistently for Gunners since his move.
Arsenal signed him from Real Madrid in the 2013 summer for a fee around £40million. He
has made 74 appearances for the North London side.
With
this news, several of top sides would be willing to sign him in the winter
transfer window which will open in January.
Italian
giants Juventus were also linked with his move in the summer window but the
Evening Standard claimed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was in no mood to
sell the 26-year-old playmaker.
It
is expected that if he fails to leave the Gunners in winter window then he
would certainly be saying goodbye in the summer.
