Karim Benzema has revealed shock comments regarding his summer link with a move away from Real Madrid.
The French striker told that he was never close to leaving the Spanish side for any other club this summer.
Premier League side Arsenal were in strong link with the France striker and reports have linked him very closely with a move to the North London side.
Despite of Real new manager Rafael Benitez comments few months ago that he has not included Benzmea in his plans as he is planning to play Cristiano Ronaldo as a striker, the striker is happy in Spain.
Benzema said to French TV show Telefoot: “Not at all. I'm not going to repeat myself every time.”
The 27-year-old further added that he is enjoying his life at the best football club in the world and will continue to play at Santiago Bernabeu.
Benzema netted 15 goals in 29 starts in La Liga for Real Madrid last season.
The former Lyon striker has four years left on his current Real contract and he is hoping to complete these years.
Meanwhile, Frenchman was also part of France game against Portugal which was played last Friday. He is also expected to feature in the coming friendly against Serbia.
He is currently training hard to return to full fitness. He said: “I'm coming back little by little so I'm training hard to get back to my best level.”
