Ashley Young has signed a new three year deal at Manchester United, according to manutd.com.
The Englishman who had an impressive last season at Old Trafford under Dutch manager Louis van Gaal will now remain a part of the Red Devils at least until the summer of 2018.
The former Aston Villa winger netted two goals and assisted five times in 23 Premier League starts last campaign.
Young revealed his happiness after agreeing to a new contract.

Meanwhile, Louis van Gaal also expressed happiness after capturing Young for another three years. Young has played on several positions for the Red Devils. LVG admired him that he is adapted the wing-back position very well.
Manchester United signed him for a fee around £20 million form Aston Villa in 2011. The 30-year-old has made 115 appearances since his arrival. He has netted 13 goals and lifted the Premier League title in 2013.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are now looking to sign Angel di Maria replacement as the Argentine joined French giants Paris Saint Germain few days ago.
Pedro Rodriguez of Barcelona has been on top of LVG's radar this summer and the reports believe that he could make a bid next week.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also said to be interested in the Spanish attacker.
