Arsenal
goalkeeper David Ospina has been targeted by Spanish side Valencia, according
to Daily
Star.
David
Ospina joined Arsenal last summer after impressing in the World Cup 2014. The
Colombian who was also a part of this year’s Copa America played regularly in
the second half of last season for the Gunners in the Premier League.

The
26-year-old played 15 games for the North London side in the Premier League campaign
last season.
Arsenal who have signed Petr Cech few weeks ago is expected to take the first team
goalkeeper role next season. While
Wojciech Szczęsny who was the regular starter for the past few years could also
leave the club for regular football.
The
reports from Daily Star have revealed the La Liga side Valencia are keen to
make an offer for the Arsenal stopper David Ospina.
With
the presence of Diego Alves at the Mestalla Ospina he would also have to struggle
in the La Liga. Alves was exceptional last season in all competitions.
Meanwhile,
Fenerbahçe, Marseille and Everton all are also keeping tabs on the player’s
situation who is expected to leave the club.
Fenerbahçe
are eyeing to sign another Premier League player after the signature of Robin
van Persie from Manchester United yesterday.
