La
Liga side Sevilla have signed midfielder Steven Nzonzi from Stoke City for a
fee around £7 million, according to SkySports.
The
Europa League winners made an initial bid around £3 million last month but the
Premier League rejected as the offer was too low. Sevilla second bid which was around £7 million has been accepted by the Potters, as per Sky Source.

Nzonzi
who had only one year left on Stoke City campaign was expected to sign a new
deal according to chief executive Tony Scholes. However, the 26-year-old has
joined a Champions League club and will soon be competing for his place in the
first team next season.
Stoke
manager Mark Hughes was keen to keep him as he had been one of the vital player
for them. But the former Manchester City boss knew that he was in talks with
the Spanish outfit and will surely not prefer Stoke over a Champions League side.
The
Frenchman who has is yet to feature for France senior team played three seasons
at Britannia Stadium. He joined them from Blackburn Rovers in 2012.
Nzonzi was a regular player, he played 120 games for Stoke in all competitions during his three years of stay.
