Lukas
Podolski is keen to move to a new club where he can get regular playing time. His
agent Nassim Touihri confirms that Arsenal have now given permission to
look for a new club.
Touihri
told German media Bild regarding the
discussions with Wenger.
“We
had good talks with Wenger.”
The
30-year-old forward moved to the North London side three years ago and played
an important role in the starting seasons. But last season, Arsenal boss Arsene
Wenger did not give him enough chances due to the tough competition in the
squad. Danny Welbeck, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez all were fighting for a
start.
Podolski
spent second half of last season at Serie A outfit Inter Milan where he also failed
to make an impact. The former Bayern Munich attacker made 17 appearances in
Serie A for Inter Milan.
Turkish
side Galatasaray are keen to sign him and the reports believe that they will soon
be announcing the agreement.
