Italian
giants AC Milan have agreed a deal to sign Parma defender Jose Mauri as the
club revealed officially that the agreement has been reached.
Jose
Mauri is yet to have a medical test for his proposed move to AC Milan. The medical
will be taken today, as per the reports.
The
19-year-old Parma starlet played an exceptional game for Parma last term.
He played the 35 games and also represented his country at the junior
levels.
The
teenager was also been targeted by several other top sides including Fiorentina.
The Serie A club have already sealed five deals. Carlos Bacca from Atletico Madrid, Simone
Verdi from Torino, Rodrigo Ely from Avellino, Andrea Bertolacci from Roma and Luiz
Adriano from Shakhtar Donetsk. Mauri will be becoming the sixth summer signing
for the Italian side.
Mauri
gave an interview for Sky Italia on reaching Milan that he is delighted with
his move.
The
medical has not been taken yet but the player is happy as he is going to complete his
dream move.
“I'm
emotional, we haven't done the medical yet, but Milan is a dream for me and I
hope they will help me grow.”
The
Argentine born player who also revealed that his idol is Javier Mascherano was eyed by AC
Milan before his move to Parma few years ago.
