Liverpool
have agreed to sign goalkeeper Adam Bogdan from Bolton Wanderers, according to club’s
official site.
Liverpool
have already sealed Danny Ings and James Milner deals in the recent weeks and
it is now confirmed that they have landed a stopper from Championship
side.
Adam Bogdan will be out of contract this summer and will be moving to Liverpool next
month when the transfer window opens.
The
Hungarian stopper made 120 appearances for the English side since his move in
2007. However, he might be replacing Brad Jones on the bench but it would be good
if he gives tough time to Liverpool regular goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Bogdan
who made 13 appearances in the recent season featured against Liverpool in the
FA Cup fourth round at Anfield earlier this year. The player was not regular in the past two seasons due to his back to back injuries.
Liverpool are yet to sign a World Class player, they are still eyeing several of star
players. This news will not excite the Liverpool supporters, once
Brendan Rodgers agree deal for World Class striker then they will get excited.
The Reds have been linked with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema who is set to leave the club this summer as new boss Rafael Benitez has no plans to keep him at Madrid.
