Arsenal
are set to finalize the deal for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech for a fee around £10million,
as per the Telegraph's report.
Arsenal
have been targeting Blues stopper Petr Cech for the past several months and it
was reported that several top sides including Manchester United, Roma and Real
Madrid have been in the race. However, it is now reported that the deal between
the two London sides Arsenal and Chelsea will soon be finalized.
One
of the two current first team keepers Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina might
leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Cech
is keen to play in Premier League with a top club as he eyes to end his career
on high.
Chelsea
boss Jose Mourinho might not be happy if Cech completes his move to Arsenal as
the Portuguese boss does not want him to join a rival side despite the boss
told that he has allowed the keeper to choose his next destination freely.
Chelsea who have allowed Cech to leave this summer are now likely to face their keeper next season in a game against the Gunners.
Cech
will complete his £10million move to the other side of London in the coming
weeks.
